Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi! Yesterday I noticed slight pain on my inner right ankle. By the end of the day, it was hard to walk with my right foot so I put ice on it. I also elevated it for a couple hours and continued to ice it. Today I don t feel pain while walking or standing but there is tenderness when I try to stretch my ankle. I have a feeling this is caused my a pair of wedges I wore 2 days prior, however I don t know for sure. It did swell in a small size. i believe that it did go down slightly. i am currently using compression. There is a small bruise discoloration. What do you think?
it can be just sprain. any injury if so can take x-ray ankejoint. take ankle cap. apply analgesic ointment like volin and take tab combiflam twice daily.take some rest can have local examination by doctor.exclude fracture or hairline fracture get consulted by orthopaedic surgeon. cold compression can be taken
