General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Tendinitis is a common cause of arm pain. You can take ibuprofen 600 mg and paracetamol 500 mg every 6-8 hours after food to help with the pain.

Finding a brace that keeps the hand and arm at rest may be helpful. A physiotherapist may also give some exercises to relax muscles and strengthen the muscles that may be weak.
This may take a few weeks before you are better. If you are not getting better or you are any worse, cortisone injections can be tried in the area.

I hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
