Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a pain in my right arm that started getting worse this morning. Starting at the upper arm when doing my hair this morning. It has progressed to a pain throbbing in my upper arm even going to my arm below the elbow. Previously I took crestor and had a reaction after a long number of years. When off of it, and now on the generic of the same thing. Before was hips and shoulders - all over. This is just my right arm.
As first-line management you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief. If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopedic and plan for an MRI scan to rule out ligament or tendon injury.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
