What Causes Pain In The Right Breast?

Hello Sir, I have pain in my right breast for the last 3 months. Recently I had a mammogram test and ultrasound and the result was bilateral fibroadenosis. Should I worry about this and take more attention?. How to treat that? My doctor recommended to take evion 400 and simrose 500 for three months. Shall I go with this? Please advice.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Fibroadenosis of the breast is a benign (not cancer) condition of the breast due to hormonal imbalance in the body, faced by millions of women across the globe, totally curable, nothing to worry about it.

Best medications are being given to you by your doctor continue with that along with my suggestions to get an early recovery.
• Drink plenty of liquids to maintain hydration
• Many times vitamin deficiencies are concerned, so diet should be rich in all vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, trace elements and carbohydrates, cereals, pulses, legumes, green leafy vegetables, whole grains, milk, and organic citrus fruits
• Avoid stress or anxiety which is your major enemy
• Try to maintain rhythmic sound sleep of 7 hours minimum
• Avoid smoking/alcohol, if using
• Avoid excess fondling activities involving the breast till total recovery
• Avoid tight-fitting bra
• Regular follow-up with the doctor for progress clinically

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Purva Patel
