What Causes Pain In The Right Eye?

Hello. I have a question about my pain in my right eye. My right eye hurts and feels like something is stuck in it everytime I blink. It also feels like it s swollen but it is not that noticeable. I am a bit sick (stuffy nose, scratchy throat, popping ears) but I was wondering since I have been sick for a couple of days now why does my right eye hurt now.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

As you are feeling something stuck in eyes while blinking, so it may be chalazion. Kindly consult with ophthalmologist for detailed examination. you may require antibiotic eye drop like Gentamycin after consultation.
Along with that do warm fomentation over 2 to 3 times. Don't go outside without specs.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shyam B. Kale, General & Family Physician
