What Causes Pain In The Right Forearm?

I am a 73 yr old female. I start taking water therapy for a loose left leg replacement shaft into the femur last week after a month of PT. 2 DAys after starting I felt pain in my right forearm. It has continued to progress to where I cannot raise my hand for eating, and I cannot pick up items with my right hand without extreme shaking. The quickness of the progression has surprised me. Do you think I should see my PCP?

Hello,

Thanks for your query on HCM

"As"per your clinical history is concerned please follow like this-

1)Do a detailed clinical examination and do one differential count of blood to know exact cause.

2)Discuss with your treating Doctor about a painkiller like [Ibuprofen]

To prevent it in future do regular stretching and strengthening exercises.

Hope that helps
