What Causes Pain In The Right Side Of The Chest?

Hi, I have a pain in the right side of my chest. Every now and then the pain is crucial and it seems this happens if I move my right arm. This has been going on for two weeks. I ignored this but now it happens more often and I am concerned that this may be serious. What do you think? Dollie YYYY@YYYY

Hi,

As per your history the pain can be because of two reasons either due to the ligament tear or due to the ligament injury. Your pain is only associated with the movement of the arm that rules out any lung or cardiac ailments.

I would suggest you to take muscle relaxants for a week and also don't make sudden and sharp movements of your arm for some time. Visit an orthopedic surgeon to get your self clinically evaluated, make sure to get an x ray done too.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
