I have had pain in my right thigh all day - not related to any injury or straining as far as I know. I feels like it is spreading to my higher thigh, and now up to my groin. Pushing on the area feels like a badly bruised area - same type of pain. Could it be some sort of clotting or ?

Hi,
The pain you have can be related to blood vessels (throbophlebitis) there can be associated pain & swelling. Upword decent of pain favors this type of pain. Only pain (with burning, numbness) can be nerve pain due to nerve pressure on the supplying nerve.
