What Causes Pain In The Shoulder Blade And Numbness In The Toes?

For over a year now I have been suffering from pain starting from my shoulder blade. there is a pulling and tingling sensation from the back of my head on the right, till my toes. my whole right side becomes swollen and sometimes numb. my family doctor said it is a muscle spasm, but I m sceptical about it. on my shoulder blade and above it, there is a big swollen lump. the vein/artery on the right side of my neck also seems to be swollen. what is it and how could I treat it?

Hi,

Your symptoms can be related to muscle spasms, I agree with your doctor. I suggest you use anti-inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen 400 mg three times a day. I also suggest using anti-inflammatory creams such as Voltaren cream for local relief.
