What Causes Pain In The Shoulders?

I am a 19 year old male and last night I woke up in the middle of the night with a really bad pain in both of my shoulders. I read that it could be something to do with how I sleep. I sleep on my stomach with my arm under my pillow. I was unable to go back to sleep that night. Any suggestions on what it could be?

Hello,

I think it can just be mussels pain. I don't think this is related to sleep but just was more prominent in sleep. You can take acetaminophen or ibuprofen for pain. It doesn't need further evaluation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
