Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been walking for several weeks now, have worked up to 4+ miles. I am a female, 70 years old. I am experiencing pain on the inner side of my foot, not the arch. I really want to keep up the pace. I also bought new very supportive walking shoes. I have worked out for the past 35 years.

General & Family Physician, Dr. RS Gulati's Response
At your age Madam, you should not be walking that much. Take rest. Take a tab of Calcium 500 mg daily with a glass of milk. Now you can't keep a pace of a 20 year old girl, can you? Accept the fact & bow down to the nature. Even your heart has to accept this. So best of luck.
