What Causes Pain In The Temple Region?

It feels like a vein or nerve (?) In my temple is extra sensitive. Hurts when I put on glasses (when the earpiece slips over). Little jolt of pain if I brush back my hair. Occasionally twinges even when not touched. This happens two or three times a year maybe and lasts a couple days each time

General & Family Physician 's  Response
This is due to hyper sensitive nerve.
Advice
1.     Tablet methylcobalamin 500 mcg (tablet Neurobion Forte) once daily per oral for 2 months
2.     Amitriptyline 10 mg per oral at bed time daily if pain intolerable. Otherwise avoid it
3. Investigation - blood sugar (F & PP)
Thanks
