What Causes Pain In The Thigh And Pelvic Region?

I have been having pain in my right thigh and pelvic region for about a week now. At first I thought it was nerve pinching but now I think its something more serious. Of course I'm unsure thus would like to possibly speak to a doctor if I may. Thank you.
