What Causes Pain In The Thighs Be Treated?

I have some pain in my thigh, went to the doctor he thought it might be bursitis and gave me some prednisone to see if it helped, very little difference. This pain happens both when I am walking and I am sitting, I massage the area and the pain goes away. Any thoughts as to what is causing my discomfort This pain/discomfort is close to my hip but the pain is not always in the same spot. Stays in the upper thigh but sometimes moves to the front of the thigh but is usually on the side

Hi,

By what you say I feel that this could be muscular spasm and you might require and feel a lot better with some muscle relaxant taken three times a day for a period of 3 days. But this is a prescription drug and you will require a doctor's prescription for it. Apart from this Physiotherapy will help a lot.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
