What Causes Pain In The Throat While Eating?

I have a problem with pain in my throat when I m eating , I chew my food very small to very nothing at time and it still hard swallowing. This does happen all the time , but enough to be bothersome and think something is wrong. I told my primary doctor and he had me do a upper GI, I believe that what it was, I drink some kind of liquid. To see if my esophagus was irritated from acid reflux, but the test was negative.

i would like to know is painful swalloing accompnied by choking ,vomiting ,weight loss etc .
local ENT doctor should be consulted first to rule out any local leison responsible for it .
swalloing is partly voluntary and partly involuntary .psycogenic element to be also taken .
