Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I wake up at night (about 3 times or so a week) with pain in my right three toes on my right foot. If I touch those toes, it doesn’t make the pain worse and it doesn’t happen during the day. I also sometimes have pain in my right calf, it isn’t all the time, but the last time my toes hurt, so did my calf and there was some light throbbing. I have had pain in my calf at night sporadically for several years. The toe pain is recent and has been happening for about a month. Last August I dropped a heavy metal object that hit those right three toes on my right foot. My baby toe got the brunt of the hit. I tapped the baby toe to the ones next to it. It was bruised for about a month and then every thing seemed OK. Do you think this is related? I have an appointment with my primary care doctor in early June and plan to bring it up then. Any ideas as to what this may be and is it OK to wait to see the doctor? Thanks!
Ya sure but do some test like uric acid to rule out gout.calf muscle pain is likely due to myopathicor also rule out DVT if your life is sedentary and you may have hyper coagulable state that can lead to such symptoms and you can wait till appointment.
