What Causes Pain In The Tongue?

I have noticed that past few days that my tongue hurts. I ve never had this before, and I can t put my finger on the cause. I take no medicines, am 68 years old, don t drink oj, but I do start my day with warm cup of water with lemon. Any idea what could be causing my tongue to be sore.

rinse your mouth with warm saline water. take tab riboflavin sto taking hot tea and coffee.apply boroglycerine in tongue. sto smoking or chewing tobacco.

Thanks for your question,
May be warm water and lemon can be the cause of tongue soreness.
otherwise, vitamin deficiency, infection can be.
So,my advise,
you can stop warm water and lemon in morning for
someday, i think it will improve.
otherwise consult with an physician to rule out other condition.
