What Causes Pain In The Upper Abdomen And Chest?
I am periodically experiencing a pain in my high stomach, low chest area and I can feel it in my back between my shoulder blades also. It feels like someone has one hand in front and one hand in back and is pushing together. I feel a tad dizzy but not a lot. Also, sometimes happening at the same time but sometimes not, my heart feels like it is racing. I can actually feel my heartbeat in my neck, my head, and my ears when this happens.

I recommend an over the counter acid lowering drug like ranitidine and an antacid like gelusil next time.
If that doesn't relieve the pain even after above measures, I would recommend a visit to ER, get an ECG done.
It may just probably be gastritis due to acid in stomach but might also be something serious.
