What Causes Pain In The Upper Abdomen During Pregnancy?

Hi I am now about 15 weeks pregnant I have been suffering from upper abdominal pain centre middle between the bottom of my ribs since I was 3 weeks pregnant I saw a gp and she suggested it was just heart burn and to use gaviscon however the achey pain is still present and consistent. This is my first pregnancy and I am worried as it could be something different than just heart burn.

Hi I think it is heart burn only. It is very common in pregnancy. You can take some antacids like pantoprazole empty stomach. Also take some liquid antacids like digene syrup and some enzymes like aristozyme. Don't remain empty stomach for long. Avoid spicy food. Hope it helps.
