What Causes Pain In The Upper Abdomen While Suffering From H.pylori Infection?
I recently went to the doctor and she told me I might have a h-phyori infection. I ve been having discomfort in my upper abdomen for the last two weeks. I m waiting on the test to come back. Yesterday, i started having mild cramp pain below the navel. Can that be apart of the h-phyori infection?

Hi,
The upper abdomen pain could be due to gastritis or small ulcer-like problem. For that antacid like rabeprazole can be prescribed for a week.
If no improvement than h.pylori can be ruled out by a urea breath test.
So h.pylori has to be confirmed through the report and then only antibiotic for that can be prescribed.
