What Causes Pain In The Upper Abdomen?

I have light pain in the top of my stomach and it hurts if I press fingers in at the top just below my ribs in the centre I was out walking this morning and I had pain in the top inside of my right leg, like I was about to pull a muscle the not long after that the pain in the stomach started ? t

Hi,
Thanks for writing to HCM.
I understand your concern.
After going through the description, it appears that you might be having muscle spasm of the intercostal muscle near ribs. Kindly do the following:
1. Take Tablet. Ibuprofen + Chloroxazone combination twice a day after food for 5 days. This contains analgesic to relieve pain with muscle relaxant.
2. Take Tablet. Calcium 500mg once a day after food at night time for 15 days to correct calcium homeostasis and strengthen muscle and bones.
You should get better in a week time.
