What Causes Pain In The Upper Abdomen?

Two years ago I had xray showing 2 hypoechoic lesions 8mm, 12 mm, where my gallbladder would normally be (removed 2002). Now serious pain in upper right abdomen, ultrasound shows 8mm lesion and now 1.5 centimeter calcified cyst, appears benign . What test to determine if benign?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Good day and thank you for posting this question. It does not appear benign, because the gall stone in the gall bladder has increased in size from 12mm to 150mm (1.5cm) and this is why you are having serious pain in the upper right abdomen.
I will suggest you go to your doctor, and Surgery would be the best option for you to make the pain go away.
I hope it helps.
Thank you.
