General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Very likely your arm pain is due to muscular strain or a nerve root being pinched in the neck area and both of them are generally treated with pain killers and physiotherapy.

On the other hand because this is a problem that has lasted for months it is best to have a visit with your doctor and specifically determine the cause of the pain and the necessary treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
