What Causes Pain In The Upper Thigh After Arthroscopic Knee Surgery?

6 days ago I have arthroscopic knee surgery to repair the torn ACL. I can t seem to get comfortable due to pain in my upper thigh. It feels to be from a nerve or muscle. I wear a knee brace 24/7. What can I do to relieve this pain? I get no relief from the pain meds. I just want to get some sleep.

Hi,

It could be radiating pain from your knee. Ask your surgeon to prescribe you a different painkiller or sleep medicines.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harshita,
