What Causes Pain In The Wrist Bone?

I picked up a heavy glass the other night with my right hand; wrist bone started to hurt ( felt like a cramp in it). Next day felt a bit better; helped my husband pick up boxes of toilets being replaced in the house. Last night wrist started hurting. Woke up this morning; wrist quite swollen and in pain. After taking shower, loosened up a bit, but by now, hurting again. Started alternating ice & heat every 20 minutes & taking 800 mg ibuprofen. Can you please tell me what might have happened and if I m treating it correctly?

Hi, I think you should do a xray of the wrist to exclude any minor fracture. You can take some pain killers and muscle relaxant also. It will help in relief of the wrist
