What Causes Pain In The Wrists For A Few Years?

Yes sir. I had a quick question about my wrist. I have had pain in it for few years and I believe it was from poor form in benching while working out. Lately I got back to working out and working on the back eases the tension in the arm to neck to lower right head which I was told was from lack of working out the back muscles. Still have wrist aches. Was wondering what it could be possibly? Say you have your hand in the thumbs up position and the wrist goes down so if horizontal to the ground it s on the right side. Could that be a pinched nerve and can it be fixed? Thank you for your time.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As a first line management, you can take analgesics like Paracetamol or Aceclofenac for pain relief.

If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopedician and get evaluated.

We have to rule out possibilities like early signs of arthritis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
