What Causes Pain In Thighs And Upper Arms While Having Hashimoto S Disease?
Sudden onset of pain left thigh, followed by pain left upper arm, then right thigh, then right upper arm. No known reason. tried PT, no help. left side worse than left. Left thigh wrayed and negative, positive ANA 1:80, but also have Hashimoto s. Right side pain almost gone. left more intense, waiting for a rheumotology appointment.

Regarding your symptoms of pain at the upper arm and thigh following a diagnosed Hashimoto thyroiditis I am suggesting that you have developed an autoimmune antibody reaction with predilection for the bones
In view of this please do a bone scan and see an orthopaedic specialist with the result and for expert clinical assessment and adequate drug prescription
Moreover please take some analgesic pending your appointment
