What Causes Pain In Throat With Difficulty In Swallowing?

i have a pain in the upper right side of my thoat/neck and i just started having a pain there but i felt as if i had something in my throat but i can swallow fine and eat with no problems but now i have this pain. i am 27, 130lbs, 5'6 in height. no allergies that i am aware of. what could this be??

Hi, thanks for your query. In my opinion, throat pain in the upper part or outside in the neck both can be because of throat infection.
If I were your treating doctor, I would have prescribed antibiotics and anti inflammatory medicines for 5 to 7 days.
Empirically you can take anti inflammatory medicines like paracetamol+diclofenac+serratio peptidase combination tablet which will help you. If symptoms persists, please consult our doctor.
