It felt like someone hit me with a truck. Lasted 4 days and is tapering off. I still feel it when i cough. Should i go see my doctor?

Hi thanks for contacting health care magic.

According to your history pain is in upper abdomen area...
Mostly it will be gastritis like stomach inflammatory condition....
Take omeprazole on empty stomach before meal ....
Fruits taken more esp..blueberry that is rich in antioxidant....
Kiwi , avocados , apple also some good fruits to take.
Cooked oatmeal help in soothing stomach.

Drink more water...
Avoid excess spicy and fried food for few days.
Excess tea, smoking like irritants avoided

If still pain there pancrease , gall bladder pathology searched by USG abdomen...
