What Causes Pain In Upper Left Abdomen Upon Brisk Movements?

Hi, I have pain in upper left abdomen when I walk fast. It s been for 2 years already. Blood tests shows nothing wrong. My gastroenterologist says that if pain appears only during walking then it is probably not my stomach problems. I don t have any other issues. I was pregnant 3 years ago and during labour pain (in upper left side) was bad, but disappeared after. I didn t do CT scans. How to know is it a muscle or I have something inside? (like polyp or something)

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have pain in upper left abdomen upon brisk movements . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like constipation , diarrhea , gastroenteritis , acid reflux , kidney infection or stress. I would suggest you to consult gastroenterologist for proper examination . Doctor may order certain test like ultrasound , stool test and take history to confirm the diagnosis . Doctor may prescribe ornidazole , laxative , omeprazole or albendazole . Doctor may also refer you to nephrologist for kidney problem . The symptoms can also occur due to angina so consult cardiologist . For now eat light and non spicy , eat small and frequent meals and take light walk after every meal .
