General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

It can be due to acute gastroenteritis or gastritis and may need stool analysis and oral probiotics as well as anti spasmodic medications. Antacids like Omeperazole can also be used along. If symptoms persist gastroenterologist review and ultrasound or CT abdomen as well as endoscopy may be needed.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
