What Causes Pain In Upper Right Quadrant While Suffering From MONO?

I have pain in my upper right quadrant on and off for 2 years. Had HIDA scan (53%). I have mono currently and noticed the pain is worse during my period. I also have muscle cramping and some mild tremors in my hands. I have pain in my feet and cold intolerance.

Hello,

I think the pain could be due to uterine contractions. Perhaps you might be having uro-genital infection that should be checked out through urine analysis, vaginal swab testing and abdominal / transvaginal ultrasound. Muscle cramping and mild tremors in your hands might be due to electrolyte deficiency related to magnesium or vitamin D. Should take magnesium and vitamin D and calcium supplement. It could be due to hormonal changes and/or any acute stress you might be facing too. However we should rule out organic problems first.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
