What Causes Pain In Upper Stomach?
Good Afternoon, I had a total hysterectomy in December and am now expierencing episodes of upper stomach pain. The pain will last a few hours to a few days. People have commented that I may be expierenceing gallstones. Is this common ar completely unrelated?

Hysterectomy done is a pelvic organ hence to have a pain in the upper abdomen after some months looks to be unrelated.
I would advise you to get the upper GI endoscopy, an opinion of the gastroenterologist and Ultrasonography to start with to get to the root of the problem. This can then be treated accordingly.
Till then you can have PPI, soft bland diet, and avoid foods and beverages which cause this problem of upper abdominal pain .
