Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have pain in the top part of my thigh. It doesn t hurt when I sit or sleep on my back. It hurts when I get up from sitting and the more I walk it seems to loosen up and I can walk easier. I have had X-rays and boyh my hip and my knee is wearing . I don t know if it might be from my back? Or which joint? My email address is YYYY@YYYY . Thank you.
Your genuine concerns have been thoroughly reviewed by me and I assure you help in the best possible way.
It may be due to the tendonitis ( muscle tendon inflammation ) or it may be due to hip joint, or the nerves supplying the muscles of thighs are causing the issue.
You need to consult a Neurologist for in-office visit for complete evaluation and treatment. Neurologist will run a battery of tests after doing a physical examination and will treat accordingly.
Hope it helps. Have a nice time ahead.
Regards! DR. MUHAMMAD Hanif USA
