What Causes Pain In Vagina While Sitting After Childbirth?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...Hello, I gave birth 11 and a half months ago. Afer birth I figured there would be pain in the vagina so I didn't pay any mind to it..I couldn't sit or walk without being in tons of pain, I would actually tear from the pain.. I then went to my 6 week check up and asked the Dr. if this amount of pain was normal and he told me I had a tear on the inside lip and that it would heal on its own..After that I still couldn't sit or walk normal until about 4 months after the birth...I still had the pain after the 4 months it just wasnt as bad...but it would become really bad again everytime I would get my period..And now 11 and a half months later I am still getting very strong pain down there when I get my period and sometimes I get very sore during and after intercourse..if you could please tell me what can be the cause of all this pain I would really appreciate it..Thank you..
