What Causes Pain Inside The Ear Radiating Towards Jaw And Throat?

I have been having severely extreme pain inside my left ear and goes down into my jaw and into my throat. The pain is so unbareable and has been going on for months. The pain is deep in the ear and constant sharp and throbbing pain then leads to the throat where it s so tight that it s painful to do anything. I don t have an ear infection and my teeth are ok. No medications take the pain away. I stay in pain all day and night and can barely way or sleep.

As per your complain severe pain in ear radiating to throat and jaw and in case if there is no infection in ear or teeth the other causes can be Chronic upper respiratory infection, Jaw joint [temporomandibular joint] problems due to teeth grinding habit,teeth clenching etc, Mastoiditis,Myofascial Pain Dysfunction Syndrome, nerve trauma etc..
You need to consult an Otolaryngologist and get a thorough evaluation done and investigations like Blood tests to rule out infections, as well as X-RAYS and MRI scan can help in confirming the cause..
As of now you can take higher painkiller like Tramadol to relieve pain..
Do warm compresses in the area of ear and jaw and do warm saline gargles..
Avoid stress by meditation and breathing exercises.
