What Causes Pain Near Left Ear?
Hello Welcome Ranjan in H.C.M. I have gone through your query regarding your ear pain of left side, though you had been examined by your doctor for ear diseases. As you are not having any other ear symptoms like ear discharge etc, so there are chances of referred otalgia (means disease of other organ but giving referred pain to ear) in your case. Dear Ranjan these are various conditions where patient have pain in ear while real pathology is at other place. these are- 1- Carius tooth (last molars). 2- Ulcers at posterior part of tongue. 3- Acute Tonsillitis. 4- Blocked Eustachian tube (tubular connection between throat and ear) as found in cases of severe sore throat. 5- Arthritis of jaw joint.
