What Causes Pain Near Tail Bone?

I have been having alot of pain near my tail bone. Everyday it gets worse n worse now there is a lump on right side of my bum cheek near the tailbone.. Im having hard time to sit,walk, and lay down.. Pain is so bad i was told to take advil because i had a inflamed tailbone..Should i get a second look because pain is becoming worse and bump is all red n very very tender..
