What Causes Pain Near The Breast And Armpit Region?

Hi i have a had a pain in my right breast on the side nearest to my armpit and its painful and it hurts when i move my arm to certain places and when i try to turn over in bed it hurts iv had it for about a week and half now im getting a bit worried now

Hi Dear ,

As per your query you have pain near the breast and armpit region , which hurt when you move your arm . Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to manyreasons like allergic reaction , heart burn due to acid reflux , muscle pull , brachial Plexus Injury , cardiovaascular reasons , breast cancer ,cyst or connective tissue degeneration . But in your case it seems to me that in your case symptoms occur either due to muscle pull or any kind of infection or lump in breast . I would suggest you to consult general practitioner for proper diagnosis . Doctor may order complete blood count: to measure the number of red and white blood cells in your system , chest or breast X-ray (mammogram) , biopsy or allergy test . Doctor may prescrine anti allergic medicine , antibiotics , muscle relaxant or radiation therapy . For now apply warm compresses to affected area and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain .
