What Causes Pain On And Off In Nose?

My mother is suffering from severe pain on and off in her nose for about 3 months now. ENT doctor told her no physical changes and examination showed normal. She s 83yrs.old now. what do you think is the cause of the pain? should I ask a second opinion?

it can be dns or or nasolacrimal problem. it is mainnly related to her age. it can be sinus problem related to rettograde infection. simptomatic treatment like systemic antibiotic, analgesic annd nasibion nasaldrop may be helpfull. may take second opinion from ENT surgeon.
