What Causes Pain On Base Of Skull?

I have been having pain in the base of my skull mostly on left side that extends to the top of my head. Many swollen lymph nodes and some ear pain. very stiff neck. no fever ears are clear, no sore throat. I have been on antibiotics for a week, not any better.
