What Causes Pain On Either Side Of The Nasal Bridge?
Hi! For maybe 8/10 days now, I have a pain at the top of my nose, on both sides of the bridge. It started suddenly, without apparent reason. Since the very same day, my nose has been pretty much full all the time, even if I do not have any other symptoms of a cold. Any idea of what it could be? Thanks!!
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain pain on either side of the nasal bridge along with stuffy nose can be due to sinus infection also known as Sinusitis.. I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a clinical examination along with investigations like PNS view x ray can help in diagnosis and treatment can be planned accordingly.. He can advise you antibiotics like Levofloxacin, anti-inflammatory painkiller like Advil, decongestant like Pseudoephadrine, saline nasal irrigation, steam inhalation and steroid nasal sprays.. Avoid chilled foods and air conditioned atmosphere.. Do warm compresses around the nose..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora.
