Hi,I am having pain I my left side in the back and am trying to decide if it is my kidneys or a back problem? I was put on predesone for breathing yesterday. I have had sudden urges to pee but when I get there I don t do anything .it does not burn or anything when I do go. YYYY@YYYY Maybe my back is out of place this has been going on for several days but today seems to be worse. I have done stretches and bends and everything I can think of with not much relief. What do you think? What? I did not know you had to pay for the answer!
Pain in the left side radiating to back and difficulty and frequent urge to urination is due to problems in the kidney on the left side. There is also a possibility of prostate enlargement.
However, you need a physical examination and necessary tests like blood, urine tests and ultrasound to find the health of kidneys and prostate.
I suggest you get an appointment with Urologist so that it can be assessed properly and accordingly addressed.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Soheel Hussain Zargar,
Dentist
