What Causes Pain On Left Side Post Fallopian Tube Removal?

I had my tubes removed on Monday and seem to be recovering well so far. The problem is my left side still hurt bad. It s not on the incision (very small) site. When ever I lay down or sit I feel great but as soon as I stand up I get a very painful burning sensation in what feels like my left ovary. I have tried to call OB with no luck should I go to ER?

Hallow Dear,

You history suggests that you may be having infection on the left side. You need to be thoroughly examined and treated lest spread in the abdominal cavity. For infection, you may need a course of antibiotics.

If your Gynaecologist is not available, please report to the ER for correct diagnosis and management.

Hope this helps you.
