What Causes Pain On Right Side Behind Ear And Headaches?
Hi I m a 39 year old female I have had pain on the right side behind ear on the bone I noticed a hard lump on the bone I have been very tired and like flu like symptoms all day there is no drainage and I m having headaches the pain is s hot achy burning its swollen all behind my ear too and my ear I red. Please help no idea what s wrong and no insurance to go in
The symptoms seem to be related to a viral infection which can commonly cause ear pain or even an ear infection. I suggest using Acetaminophen for the pain three times a day. I recommend using an antibiotic ear drop and put warm compresses on the ear. If the symptoms continue you may need oral antibiotics. In such a case, I suggest to consult an ENT specialist.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
