What Causes Pain On Right Side Of Back Of Head?

Hi, i am anna. I use to have a bad pain at the back of my head at right side. I got it checked. Doctors says that there is vein which swells at time due to an injury in past. They say that because of this i may also get strokes. They are suggesting for open surgery. Please suggest. It pains a lot and at that time i cant even sleep.

Usually electric shock like pain can oocur at the site of past injury. But this is not related to stroke. Stroke can only occur if there is lack/interruption of blood supply to any part of brain. So, please send me the prescription and suggestions of doctor/reports for any suggestions. All the best.
