What Causes Pain On The Face After Taking Clindamycin?

i am taking clindamycin ped75mg/5ml sol 100ML. Is this medication has the same ingredients to Amoxcillin. When i take this medicine im gettinng a severe pain in my face. I have a bateria in my mouth because i am getting my 4 wisdom teeth extracted very soon.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain Clindamycin and Amoxicillin belongs to two different group of antibiotics and taking antibiotics will not cause pain in face rather pain can be due to infection in your wisdom teeth..

I would suggest you to continue taking the antibiotic as advised to you by your dentist and in case if there is pain on taking Clindamycin you can take amoxicillin and along with it anti inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen can also be taken to relieve pain..
Do cool compresses over the face..
