What Causes Pain On The Left Side Of The Head?

Hello Doctor, I have a slight pain (if pain is the word; more like discomfort) on the upper left side of my head. It is unilateral and quite localized, and I think I incurred it through lifting weights. My greatest fear is that it is an unruptured aneurysm or something like that. What do you think?

Hello,
A localised headache may be a symptom of an unruptured aneurysm. But from your description, it looks like you have only discomfort. And moreover, aneurysm do not form just because you lifted weights.
I would recommend you to stop thinking about aneurysm and wait for few days and observe for the progression of discomfort. Avoid lifting too much weights wherein you are stressing out almost all of your body. If discomfort persists or progresses to pain, you can consult a physician or a neurologist. If you want to make sure that it's not an aneurysm. you can ask for an imaging investigation anytime.
I hope the above information helps you. Thanks for writing into healthcaremagic. Have a nice day and take care.
