What Causes Pain On The Left Side Of The Head?

The other nite I had woken up to my head slumped to the right with pain in the left side, I think I had drooled as I had liquid on my chin, a severe headache, right arm from shoulder to elbow in tremendous pain, right buttocks had numbness and then proceeded down back of right leg, then left buttocks got numb. Drinks had awful taste like metal, nasaus and vomiting which looked like feces, kept passing out. Been home from work for 3 days and feeling better. Is this a one time deal or should I still seek medical attention? And what does these symptoms say?

Hi,

We will try to help you in best way possible. First of all it's sad to know what you had been going through lately. Based on the history you have shared, it can be a single episode if didn't recur in three days off work, however causes range from migraine to glaucoma or raised pressures, and nausea can trigger vomiting and altered taste too.

If you still feel the symptoms persisting than a medical facility review along with baseline blood work up may be needed. Meanwhile OTC analgesics like Acetaminophen along with Motility agents like Domperidone can be used.
