General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

First of all it's sad to know what you had been going through lately. Based on the history you have shared, it can be muscular and might have started due to any muscle spasm or irregular movement.

However X-ray spine and local examination to rule out other causes may be helpful. Using OTC analgesics like acetaminophen or Ibuprofen alongwith muscle relaxants like tizanidine or orphenidine may be helpful.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
